Jason was terrified of his burning candle. He tried and tried to get out of his chair and away from it. I tried to get a picture of that but didn't. His attitude toward the whole thing changed when the cupcake was for eating=)
When the meal was all done he noticed his messy hands. It was pretty cute.

That's funny about the burning candle...we have some friends whose little 3-year-old starts saying "No-no-no-no" whenever someone sings "Happy Birthday" in his presence.
Discovery for little ones is so much fun, even if it is scary. I think it shows a great deal of intelligence that Jason was afraid of the fire, especially since he is fascinated by light. I hope the feeding set is appropriate for his ability. Sounds like he is going to develop in the eating area very soon.
