I only had time to skim this article, but it and many others are speaking (I think largely unheard) about an issue that I am passionate about. This author has it right, I think, and other thinkers do too, but very few people are willing to change what is working for them, regardless of what is happening to our boys.

Another evidence for the superiority of home schooling - when done right. Another problem that I see is that school often sets boys up for failure because it is structured around skills/interests that are primarily feminine or verbal, rather than hands-on/mechanical/action ordered. When homeschooling, especially when moms do all of it, the same trap may lurk. Most curriculums are not designed to meet male learning needs either. Awareness is a good start in solving the problem. Thanks for sharing the article.
